Fantastic atmosphere and great food. Their gluten-free waffles are delicious! They have a designated gluten-free waffle iron, which we were told is a recent development, so it probably wasn't there when the other reviewers made their complaints. I've eaten their waffles at least a dozen times now and I've never gotten sick, even before they had a dedicated iron. So glad to have found a place where I can eat breakfast on our annual trips since our hotel does not have a GF menu. Always excited to come back here each year!

No gluten free menu. Gf waffles are made on the same waffle maker as the regular ones and the server was pretty careless/clueless on menu items that could be made gluten free.

Really disappointed in The Café on Brent St. Server Trent had no interest in trying to find safe options. Only option he offered was GF waffle on a shared iron. I asked if hash was gf and his response was "isn't meat Gluten-free? I'd have to ask the chef." Thought salad would be safe but he didn't know if any dressing were GF and came back with no dressing was GF so I ate a fruit bowl.

My 8 year old son with Celiac ate the gluten free waffle which was delicious. Unsure about contamination. He currently doesn’t get symptoms. Staff said all the sandwiches can be made with gluten free bread. Knowledgeable and friendly.

Following other recommendations, we went here this morning for breakfast due to the dedicated waffle maker since my daughter is celiac. Called first to confirm and said yes. Had to wait for table. Finally sit down, clarify again with waiter. Wasn’t sure so I said you need to be sure. Checked and it’s NOT a dedicated maker. He said,”we wipe it down real good.” That’s not going to fly so we walked out!
