We had a wonderful experience here. They had samples so we could try before buying. We tried the chocolate and cloud 9 tarts and the cookie blush. All were tasty but we really liked the chocolate tart so purchased that and the chocolate truffles. Will update this review once we try the truffles. All items on the menu are gluten free except the abelskievers and the tiramisu. Not sure about their cross contamination procedures.

Updated 2/3/2021: We did really like the chocolate truffles and since I signed up for their rewards program, I received a discount for use during my birthday month, which happened to be January, so we drove out there for a weekend out of town. This time we ordered two of the sipping chocolates, a mousse bomb and the chocolate tart again. My husband had the Italian Job sipping chocolate and I had the Salted Caramel. The sipping chocolates were exquisite. I had tried the sipping chocolate from Trader Joes before and wasn't impressed but this sipping chocolate was decadent. You don't receive a large portion, more like a larger dixie cup but its rich and creamy and oooh sooo chocolatey, that it is well worth it. My husband declared he loves it much more than hot chocolate and wants it every time he comes to Purcellville. The chocolate bomb was also amazing. I ate it right away as it needed to be refrigerated and I had no way to refrigerate it. It was chocolate mousse on a chocolate cookie crumb crust with a chocolate ganache holding it all together. Heavenly!!!! I highly recommend!!!
