The Chowder Stop

I asked about GF options and they were: chowder (which was good but I try to avoid dairy so it wouldn’t be my first choice). Otherwise it was salad without croutons and burgers without bun. I wasn’t offered a panini option like a previous poster had mentioned was available.

Good service, even though they were busy. Regular fries are not GF and are fried in the same fryer as sweet potato fries.

The chowder is marvelous! For those of you visiting with a gluten eating partner, the chicken burger looked marvelous to me AND I was told it was the best chicken burger my friend had ever had.

Only chowder and salad are GF. Chowder has rice flour. They were friendly and clear that kitchen it's self is not gluten free, they do their best. Chowder was delicious and we had no issues.

This place has a very good gluten free chowder. Quiet and seated pretty quickly. Also good service, great location and reasonable prices
