Although they didn’t have a gluten free menu, the waiter was able to advise me what not to order, specifically any soups or gravies because of flour. I ended up getting the low country boil. BEST low country boil I’ve ever had! We’ll definitely visit here again.

I have Gluten, soy, peanut and egg allergy which makes it difficult to eat out. I ordered the house salad without eggs and croutons and asked if they could add chicken without any soybean oil or butter. The waitress came back to let me know they were grilling my chicken w/o oil or seasoning. She got everything correct. I added cracked pepper and salt at the table and it was edible.

Whilst they aren't a recognized GF friendly place, we came here for a meal with friends. I advised the server my boys and I are gluten free and dairy free. I am not hard to please but when she didn't write down the orders and didn't seem to listen when I asked for no cheese or croutons on the salad, I was a little nervous. My meal came out with both. When I asked if she could change it, she told me I never told her. 🙄 What is worse, when my salad came back out I found cheese in it and I wasn't able to eat it. It really is the little things and when you get gastro sick from gluten and dairy and it's a big deal especially on holiday. Do no eat here if you are celiac or sensitive to gluten or dairy.
