Best gluten free fried chicken I’ve ever had and solid fried chicken in general. The crunch and flavor is everything you’re looking for and most of their delicious sauces are GF too. The ranch in particular is superb. My only gripe is they only serve bone-in chicken gluten free - so you can’t get tenders or nuggets or anything. You also can’t get their fries because they fry them in the gluten fryer (I don’t know why?)
Staff is very knowledgeable about celiac and cross-contamination. The GF chicken is cooked in a separate frier and comes to the table marked GF.

🌾🚫 Gluten free fried chicken fried in a dedicated fryer. Available in orders of 5 pieces and 10 pieces.
Fries are not fried in a dedicated fryer and are not Celiac friendly due to gluten cross contamination.
All dipping sauces are gluten free except for the honey mustard.
A card is included with the gluten free order that explains the details of their gluten free blend for the fried chicken.
The fried chicken breading had a bit of a spice to it. I used the BBQ sauce for dipping my chicken and it was great!
I didn’t have any cross contamination reactions/issues.
✴ Per The Crack Shack website, the gluten free fried chicken option is only currently available in Encinitas and Costa Mesa, California.
🐶 Extremely dog friendly restaurant! Dogs are allowed in all seating areas. Water bowls for dogs are located in the restaurant as well!
