Gluten free bread was brought on same tray as regular bread, and handled with the same thongs. Waiter super annoyed when asked to bring new gluten free bread, and to be sure it wouldn't touch anything containing gluten. Menu items are marked glutenfree. But familymember had coeliac reaktions immidately aften visit. Clearly staff not educated in avoiding cross-contamination.

The waiter could not understand that I could not eat gluten. Would continuously offer bread, bring me noodle soup samples, etc.

We love The Creek Restaurant in Boerne and our favorite waiter is Joel (pronounced lol Noel). We go during the week for lunch. I ask for pasta on The side which hubby eats since its not GF. The chef is wonderful and they always serve a delightful bowl if soup as a first course. Their entrees are delicious and the desserts are over the top!!
No dedicated menu but happy to make adjustments. I had prosciutto and melon and fish tacos. Sent the black beans back bc of chips but they were delicious.
Very good restaurant but I asked the hostess for a gluten free menu. They didn't have one so I asked if they could recommend GF options and they couldn't. I don't have celiacs so I was fine and navigated my way just fine.

Cute atmosphere and the chef will work with you to find something that works. Great view of the creek.
