The waitress could not tell me what was safe despite saying her Grandmother was celiac. She went to ask but only came back saying I could have a steak without spices and the salad bar is “fresh” so “should” be ok. She couldn’t tell me if the vegetables were ok. All chicken is pre marinated and not gluten free.

This is the second time I have been to The Cutting Board somewhat recently. The first visit was last year and I had a grilled pork chop, baked potato and the salad bar. I didn’t come prepared with my own salad dressing and they didn’t seem too sure about salad dressings being gluten free except for oil and vinegar yuck! The food was great and I did not get sick.

The experience today was OUTSTANDING! The waitress was super friendly and very knowledgeable about Celiac (her sister has Celiac) and she even knew about cross contamination! She checked with the kitchen and reassured me that they would be extra careful and use foil on the grill (I didn’t even have to ask…they knew!!) I got salmon and it was great, perfectly cooked, baked potato and the salad bar. I brought my own salad dressing in a little container so I was prepared. I wish I would have asked her about the salad dressing since she was so on top of things!

They do not have a GF menu but the grilled items seem to be safe.

Definitely recommend just make sure to talk to the staff.
