The Cypress Room

I had a wonderful experience at the Cypress Room. I called ahead and asked what precautions they take to avoid contamination. They said that they prepare GF salads and entrees in a separate area of the kitchen. I had a house salad with blue cheese dressing (all dressings are GF) and the New York Strip steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The waiter seemed knowledgeable of Celiac and gluten allergy. He flagged my order as special. Also, when he brought my plate he stated “here is your 100% GF plate” which boosted my confidence. The steak was pricey ($42) but delicious. The vegetables and masked potatoes had outstanding flavors.
