Asked if they could do gluten free pancakes and they said no.

I have eaten at this establishment many times on trips to DC and have never had an issue with gluten exposure. Food is good and menu items are marked gluten free. There is a risk of cross contamination but I've had good experiences here.

Has some gluten free options. Had the hash brown bowl (potatoes, eggs, bacon, cheddar) and it ws SO delicious. The waiter was very nice and kind, and the food came very quickly.

Visiting DC we went to The Diner. It looks like they have great sandwiches and burgers- unfortunately they do not have a GF bun option. When I flipped the menu over and saw the GF pancake was an option I ordered on the spot. I don't think they have a dedicated GF cooking area but I let my waiter know I have an allergy and heard him tell the cook. I will say this it was great to have the opportunity to eat GF pancakes and not have a reaction - to simply feel normal was awesome.
I've had a bad reaction after the pancakes.
Worst gluten-free pancakes I ever had.
No
They don't use a dedicated griddle, but still list their pancakes as gluten free. When we asked if they could use a separate pan, they refused.
No
