I eat here quite frequently and usually get the house salad and the buffalo chicken mac n cheese. Never had an issue. Always tasty and safe.

Was excited to eat here due to the good reviews and well catered menu. That being said I was highly disappointed in not only the quality of food, but also their safety. Not only was a reassured that they took things seriously and having a conversation with the waitress about how if my salad had croutons I couldn’t eat it and if it was premade that I would need one that never had contact with croutons. Upon receiving my meal not only was the bun completely falling apart making it impossible to enjoy I also found two small croutons in my side salad which were clear evidence that they had just taken what croutons they could out of my salad and arrived it anyway. It would’ve been better if they just put bread on top then o would have known not to eat it but it’s worse finding bread at the bottom of a salad you just ate most of. Waitress laughed it off and joked about it. I will not be coming back and am honestly impressed this place got sick good reviews. Sandwich was dry and falling apart and they clearly cut corners on thier safety

There are two restaurants in this building- an Italian place downstairs, and the Duck upstairs. The Duck seemed a safer choice and it turned out to be an unexpected delight. I just now finished the GF clam chowder (the secret to no flour is they use bacon drippings!!) which was so good at the restaurant that we also took a bowl to go! I had a great salad (lots of GF choices, i just felt like a salad) with grilled shrimp (was big enough for leftovers), hubby had some kind of sandwich (not GF) but it came with fries and I was able to glom some of those. Great experience! Not sure about overall safety as I’m not celiac, just a strong sensitivity. Oh and service was excellent.

Comfortable outdoor dining. The waitress was very friendly and made sure I understood the wings were GF but cooked in a shared frier. Same with the fish. Food was delicious. The sweet and salty wings were very mild but juicy. The clam chowder outstanding and the fish tacos tasty. My hubby who is not GF loved the duck Poutine. Only very small negative was the waitress didn't check if we wanted water or anymore to drink and they didn't enforce wearing masks when leaving the table to go inside.

Update**** not worth how overpriced it is. *****I went here once and I was very happy. I got a three course meal. The staff were very knowledgeable about allergies and have a dedicated gluten free menu. I got the wings as an appetizer. The burger with salad as my main course. For dessert I ordered the apricot creme brûlée. Very delicious. Their bun was good and didn’t fall apart like others. Definitely one of the best options in Sturbridge.

4 stars because the food is amazing for people who aren’t allergic to gluten but if you are don’t trust the menu because it will fuck you up even if they say it’s gluten free. They have no idea what they are talking about. I got the gluten free buffalo chicken dip, clam chowder and kale salad, still poisoned but I think it was the soup or cross contamination ... who knows

This place boasts about having a great gluten free menu & they do... if only what was listed on that menu was actually gluten free. I ordered the honey bourbon glazed salmon which was listed on the GF menu. It’s supposed to come with gf gnocchi and a spinach/bacon hash. The waitress came back after I ordered to tell me that the gnocchi is not actually gluten free and asks me if that is ok. I say nooo. She offers me a gf risotto instead & I say that’s okay. Almost 40 minutes later the food comes out. She served me a plain salmon over what appears to be yellow rice (maybe saffron) which is not what I ordered. I ask her where the honey bourbon glaze part is and she tells me that the chef says I can’t have it because it’s also not gf. THEN WHY WOULD YOU PUT IT ON THE GF MENU. The waitress did her best & took my dry salmon and gross yellow rice off of the check, but we will not be coming back unless the chef & management stop advertising things that are not gluten free as gluten free. I have a pretty serious allergy & situations like this are not OK. False advertising is illegal.

Excellent food. Great service. Lots of gluten free options. I had the baked cod and it was cooked perfectly. I don’t know who sets the $ amounts on this app but The Duck is probably more like $$. My cod was $22 and it was one of least expensive items, except for the burgers which were in the $10-15 range.

I had the GF Mac and cheese. It lacked flavor and was over breaded and the noddles where soggy. My mom got a burger that was absolutely disgusting. I will lot be coming back

They'll make you a gf grilled cheese even though it's no longer on the menu. The lobster mac and cheese (or plain) is so yummy! Lots of lunch/dinner options, usually a dessert or two for gf, friendly staff, fun atmosphere with live music sometimes.

Update - they've renovated and changed up the menu, not quite as many options as before but still very accommodating!

Was assured my meal was gf, specifically asked and pointed to it on the menu and said "gluten free" and asked again when put in front of me, ended up having to rush home to one of the worst relapses I've had in a long time. Do NOT risk it with this place, expensive too. Not worth it at all.

I was assured that my meal would be safe, then was brought a salad with croutons. I didn't see them, tasted the salad, asked, and was told they had gluten. The server assured me he had written gluten free on my ticket and whisked the plate away and brought it back - yes the same contaminated plate - with a new salad. I left, hungry. The nicest thing I can say is that the manager's apology was charming. I hope I am not sick tomorrow. Not safe for celiac.

Wow! I found this place as a place to stop for dinner on our way back from a weekend in Maine headed for Ct. What a gem! Relaxed, upscale pub atmosphere with dedicated gluten free menus. Our whole family had a fantastic meal. My hubby( not gf) had the strawberry fields salad and chicken pot pie. He said the salad was the best he's ever had and the pot pie was "amazing". My sons had both gf and non gf versions of Mac and cheese. Both loved it. I had the grass fed burger which was delicious and satisfying. The staff is very attentive, friendly and knowledgable . We will make this a regular stop!!!

Haven't been to this place in many years but it's still the same great atmosphere and the food was better than I remember. I will caution you though, this place is definitely on the upper end of a $$ than the single $ rating it advertises.

Food was incredible. The prices ranged from a $10 to $32 for a steak. I got the pan blacken scallops. It was probably the best meal I've had since I was diagnosed with Celiacs. My wife who is not gluten free was jealous of my meal but loved her burger. We have a high energy three year old and the staff was very accommodating.

All in all a very pleasant experience.

I don't know who gave this a 1$ amount but we had 2 mushroom burgers, no fries-chips, water to drink and it came to $32.00 (with tip). That is high for a burger.

Love going here. The hostess actually asks if anyone in the party needs a gf menu before you're seated! That never happens. The gf menu is great. I love the mac&cheese and cuban sandwich on Udi's bread. They offer so many gf options it's hard to choose.
