I went in April 2024. I asked at the entrance if they had a GF menu. They said no but that they have GF options marked on the menu. When I looked at the menu there wasn't a SINGLE thing marked GF on the menu. So I said ok I'll have a salad and asked the waitress if she could check on the dressing to make sure it's GF and could they make fries or roasted potatoes GF and she said no they can't do potatoes of any kind GF. Then the salad came out and had a pretzel on it (definitely not GF!) and dressing was on the side with no word on what's in it or of it's GF. So TERRIBLE ALL AROUND!

I had the James Franklin burger on a gf bun and it was amazing! My server was really knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination and made sure that the fries I ordered were prepped safely. Didn’t try the milkshakes, so I’m not sure if they are safe or not.

A great spot in State College! No GF bread options for sandwiches, but good burgers (even without the buns). GREAT fries which they can oven bake instead of fry to make them GF. Restaurant fills up fast so I would call ahead to see how long wait times are. Definitely a gem of State College!

Always super knowledgeable about what’s gluten free. Staff members always tell the kitchen exactly what customer says. I always ask for clean grill. I’m gluten free and dairy free. Strict on cross contamination. I get lancaster burger and take our dairy.

The Arugula Salad with your choice of protein is the only GF item listen on their menu. Lucky those of us who can’t have gluten, it rocks! I usually get the grilled chicken on top. When you order, specify that you need GF and they’ll take great care of you. I haven’t asked if the burgers could be made “naked” without a bun, but my guess is yes. I do not know if the fries are in a dedicated drier.

Although they do not have a gf fryer or a separate gf prep space, this restaurant has gluten free burger buns so you can experience their incredible burgers! I did get sick once, but took GlutenEase before my second time going and did not get sick. Their fries and chips are NOT gf.
