Review of The Fisherman's Restaurant

GF items were not marked on the menu, but our server let me know what was GF and was very attentive about talking to the chef and ensuring what I ordered was GF. I had the shrimp cocktail and Fisherman's Manhattan Red Chowder for appetizers and grilled salmon for my entree and they were all good. I was planning to pass on desert because there usually aren't many GF choices (I'm not a fan of vanilla ice cream or creme brulee) but our server recommended the Chocolate Pot'de Creme, which is a dark chocolate ganache and strawberries and GF. It was delicious! Overall the service was great. I have not noticed any symptoms from what I ate. I'm giving it four stars for safety instead of five only because it's not dedicated GF and I don't know much about their procedures, but I felt safe eating there.
