I have celiac disease, and The Fishin’ Pig is the only place I’ve been brave enough to try since moving to Farmville a few months ago. I’ve been here at least a dozen times, and haven’t gotten sick once. Love that I have such a great option so close by!

Fantastic service and food! Menu is clearly labeled and you can eat 2/3 the menu! They have gf buns too! So good! We will stop by the next time we are in the area!

Menu very clearly marked for gluten free. All the BBQ items (ribs, brisket, pulled pork, chicken) are GF, and there are several GF sides to choose from. All the BBQ sauces are GF except one which is listed on the menu and our server also pointed it out. The food was delicious, and my very sensitive Celiac child did not get sick. This will definitely be our go-to restaurant when visiting Farmville!

Great food! GF is marked on the menu. The man who seated us (perhaps one of the owners?) was very knowledgeable about what sides have gluten. He knew which items had seasonings or a sauce with gluten. One of the BBQ sauces has gluten (marked on menu). I got the pork BBQ plate (it had no fat or gristle) with cole slaw and potato salad. Did not get sick or have any reaction.
