I loved my food at their sister location a few years back. They told me they were opening a new location in Norfolk so I was so excited to try! We have been here twice since they opened and it is really delicious BBQ. I get the smoked beef brisket platter with a side Caesar salad (minus the croutons). It’s always juicy and tender. The fries unfortunately are not fried in a decorated fryer, but I don’t mind because the Caesar salad is refreshing. A huge portion of their menu is labeled gluten free (including the sides). They even note on the menu that their spicy Texas sauce isn’t GF, which I appreciate not having to ask about the sauces. My waiter wasn’t the most knowledgeable, but didn’t mind asking the kitchen any questions I had. Excellent food and service and the atmosphere is awesome! Also the prices are extremely reasonable compared to Mission BBQ.

My server was great (had a nut allergy so knew to be careful) and answered all my questions (checking with the kitchen for answers). They had GF buns but was told they warm them on the griddle, so I skipped the bun. I got brisket, and one or two of the BBQ sauces we're GF.
