One of the best bowl style restaurants I’ve ever been to. The entire restaurant is dedicated GF so there were no cross contamination concerns which is always such a relief. The black beans are the best I’ve ever had. Would definitely eat here again!

The Florribean was a sweet little find in St. Petersburg's near Tropicana Field! Dedicated GF restaurants are hard to come by.

There is no gluten in the kitchen ever! Whew!

We ordered 3 bowls-- my daughter with celiac ordered the kids bowl with chicken and the lime crema sauce. My husband and I ordered the Sweet Heat Havana and the Island Umami bowl. We also ordered the coconut lime drink.

The coconut rice in the bowls were so good! The meats were flavorful. And, I want to go back for more of the coconut lime juice 😋

The employee said they do not have any items with gluten. We ordered a beef bowl and a pork bowl. Both were fantastic. The queso and the lime crema were so good! Chips were great too. Plenty of street parking within one block.

I started ordering from Floribbean just after quarantine when I was comfortable picking up food to go to eat at home. In addition to being gluten free I’m allergic to cucumbers, and they always remembered me and my allergies when I came in. I’ve since taken family and friends there and never heard a complaint. The food is fresh, full of flavor, with a good price point, good portion size and great vibe. Fast and casual. Fun sauces and beers. Now there is outdoor seating to enjoy as well. I don’t think they call themselves a dedicated gluten free restaurant, but the items they serve are naturally gluten free, such as chicken, plantains, beans, etc.

What a treat to have everything be gluten-free! Food was delicious, service friendly and quick and location was great for a pre-game meal before the Rays game at Tropicana. Will be back for sure!

A neat little build-your-own-bowl spot featuring a variety of Caribbean flavors. It’s good for takeout and has a cute patio. Everything is GF and the vast majority of the menu is vegan. I would recommend getting the curtido slaw as a side to contrast with some of the heartier options.

Don’t skip the fresh juices — both the coconut ginger lime and mango grapefruit hit the right tangy-sweet spot to complement the slow cooked meats.

Everything on the menu is listed gluten free and the woman serving confirmed this but she was not very knowledgeable about what gluten is. Seeing as nothing contains gluten in the place, I guess it doesn’t matter but I just thought it was a little odd. The bowl was good but just didn’t feel great after… no gluten issue just kind of too heavy and oily. Personally, I would not go back as I felt there were better and healthier gluten free options available but that’s more of a personal preference, it seems safe for gluten issues.

This place just feels too good to be true but it isn’t! The food is so so so delicious and has not once made me feel sick. It’s the kind of food that is so good and safe that your stomach actually feels just so good after eating it. I’m Hispanic and really love Spanish and Caribbean style food. This place just does it right. Nothing is over powering while also being so well seasoned and tasty. My new fav gluten free spot 💚

Delicious food and the whole restaurant is entirely gluten free. This is one of two restaurants in St Pete that I feel totally comfortable eating in as a celiac person. (The other is Sōl bistro.) Try the gandules and the callaloo - so good!

Stopped here based on reviews here. All GF. Casual place. Tried the island umami bowl and chips and guacamole. Delicious flavors. Did not get sick. There are several breweries in this grand central area of St Pete and many have GF cider.

We are so happy we tried the Floribbean. The food is all made from scratch- nothing is processed- and the food was all safely GF. The garlic lime beef was amazing- super soft and tender and tasty. The coconut rice, plantains and kale were all SO yummy. No sauce (even though it was GF) was even needed. This will definitely be a staple for us whenever we are in St. Petersburg.

So disappointed. The entry way and whole restraint smelled of manure!!! We guessed it was the potted plants, but so awful! We had invited friends to meet us and were embarrassed, but didn't have another ready gf option! We got the food and took it outside. It was terribly salty and had uncooked beans in the black beans. We had thought this would be a home run but it was pretty terrible... The manure smell should have been a clue.

Everything is marked as gluten free on the menu. Had the pork, coconut rice, sofrito. Excellent flavor, fast causal spot in a fun area of St Pete. I also tested this meal with my Nima sensor came back no gluten found. Celiac safe!

100% Gluten Free menu means that this is essentially a dedicated restaurant! If you’re gluten free, then you get how essential rice bowls are to our chances of being able dine out. Guarantee you’ve never come across a bowl that is quite like the ones offered at Floribbean with as many choices and flavors as they pack! Seriously hard to describe but it’s like a spice explosion in every bite because they intertwine flavor profiles and have a twist on every topping. Black beans are mingled with ginger. Rice is infused with coconut. And just about everything has been kissed with lime. The food will transport you places and that’s a good thing because you can enjoy it from anywhere since it’s quick (freshly already prepared) and comes in a generous handy bowl. You’ll have a hard time choosing a finishing sauce between offerings of Jamaican Jerk Aioli, Spicy Peanut Sauce, Lime Crema, and more! But if you’re dining in or sticking around the area, you’re in luck because it seems to be one of the most creative and vibrant areas in the whole Bay Area to enjoy packed with places to create your own pub crawl.

This fusion of Caribbean flavors has an almost entirely GF menu. Just one side and a couple sauces are no-go. Even their chips for chips and salsa/guac are GF because nothing else in the place is fried. Everything is roasted or stewed. The food is amazing, the spiked juice is awesome. We HIGHLY recommend partying this little local treasure a visit!! We will be back many times!
