I was staying at the Fullerton Bay Hotel, and explained that I have celiac disease, and explained to the manager of their main restaurant (around the corner of the elevators), about celiac disease and cross-contamination. I only had breakfast there, but they were fantastic. The first morning they didn’t have a menu, but after explaining, the manager asked if I had any other preferences or allergies, and had the chef prepare me two plates of food so that my family could also try it without risk of cross-contamination at our table. The second morning I ate there, they had created a gluten free breakfast menu, with about 5 meal choices, sides and drinks (coffee, tea and juice). I got the “Healthier Choice” which was egg whites, tomatoes, asparagus, beans and mushrooms, and I also ordered a side of GF toast. The toast was some of the best GF bread I’ve had, and I didn’t have a reaction after either of my meals.
