Agree with the other review. They do not understand the requirements for being gluten free. My daughter ordered short rib and we were told it was absolutely gf and then we were informed that it was marinated in soy sauce! Thank god she didn’t eat it. We left and went to Tucker’s Tavern instead. That are very good about all allergens.

The menu doesn’t label what is gluten free but the staff is trained to know what dishes are gluten free, based ONLY on what the major ingredients are. But they have no clue what condiments, sauces, and other accompanying ingredients are actually gluten free. I’ve been here twice and both times were an issue. The first time, I asked them if the balsamic vinegar for the burrata had soy sauce in it (sometimes a hidden culprit) and they said no it doesn’t. However, my Nima device tested positive for gluten in it. Maybe they don’t use soy sauce in it and maybe it is just cross contamination from the supplier, but either way - the staff said it was gluten free without the bread but that was not true. The second visit we ordered a crab tartar kind of dish - they told me it was gluten free (were very confident) and low behold I was sick all night. I don’t trust this place at all. I don’t think the servers are lying - I just don’t think whomever is doing the training knows what they are doing in terms of allergies. I know a few people with allergies who has had similar experiences at this place. Such a shame for such a nice restaurant that could accomodate these things so easily with such a simple and elegant menu. I won’t be going back, and anyone with an allergy should stay away until they get rid of that chef who has no clue what ingredients he is putting in these dishes.
