This might be because it is so new and opened a few weeks ago but when I say I have celiac disease hearing “oh we don’t have a lot” and “it’s a small kitchen” I’m already looking to leave. I asked the waiter to check with the kitchen and was brought a post-it note that solidified I will not be eating anything. I explained I cannot have any gluten so anything with wheat. The post it note said “Brussel sprouts no cheese, shrimp scampi no sauce, burger no cheese, ceaser salad no croutons”. I said nothing about a dairy allergy and it was clear the staff had no experience with allergies since I was recommended a pasta dish with no sauce and a wheat bun with no cheese on it. Maybe give them a few months before ever ordering food.
