Have had the thick crust specialty pizzas and they are delish
— Excellent
I was really excited to come here as the previous reviewer explained the many GF options.
Every single GF option came with a warning that cross contamination was inevitable as there was a shared fryer or shared prep area.
This is not a place for celiacs, stay clear

After hearing raves about the food here from my non-GF friends for ages, I was so excited to hear that Goat’s Beard changed and added to their menu. I have been here twice since, enjoying their Detroit-style pizza, fish and chips, and fried calamari. All were delicious and gave me no reaction afterward. Thank you, Goat’s Beard!
(note for my sensitive celiac friends: they do warn about cross contamination for the pizza, but I had no problems!)

Had GF markings next to the few food items deemed safe, but they were out of the entree we chose. No dedicated fryer as reviewed previously. We were clear about being GF. Ordered a salad, no croutons, and was sick halfway through the meal. Disappointed.
No
I have enjoyed a burger without a bun with a side salad multiple times here with no issues. Inform your server about celiac.
Yes
The staff and owner all took the time to make sure my meal would be safe and still delicious. We had a great experience!
Good selection and ability to adapt for Gluten free, but the description is incorrect in that there is no dedicated fryer. The fries look great but I couldn't try them!
My meal was great though!
The Goat's Beard not only specializes in gluten free options with a menu that has more than a dozen selections but they will be more than happy to alter any dish to accommodate a gluten allergy.
