Definitely a place for a special occasion! We sampled so many things on the menu and they were all delicious. Chef Max is so talented. Mostly everything can be modified to be gf if it is not already so. Bummer they don’t have gf bread or crackers, but I had the baked goat cheese and jam on cucumbers and it was still great.

A lot on the menu is naturally gluten free. I told my server at the beginning that i had celiac and she made sure to tell me everything I ordered was safe and she let the chefs know so they would ensure no cross contamination.
We had: octopus carpaccio, fingerling potatoes, halibut cioppino, and a gorgeous dessert I forgot the name of.

I messaged the owners asking about cross contamination and celiac awareness, and this was the information provided:
Yes! We have gluten free options available for guests with dietary restrictions.
We also have separate fryers, stoves and cooking tools set aside specifically for guests with severe allergies so we avoid cross contamination. We just ask that you alert us ahead of time and again when you arrive so that we can take all the necessary precautions.

Like someone noted below, they explained their processes for gluten free, so j felt comfortable making my reservation with friends. Our waitress was also gluten free and I found that to be extremely helpful. We all need more Erika’s in our life! ( it was also bonus points cause we had the same name.)

We went last night for my husband’s birthday dinner. I don’t believe they took our GF requests seriously. When I asked what was GF friendly, the waitress told us all the ingredients are listed on menu?!? So, We ordered a plain steak and then was served with all the sauces. Then we asked for it plain and it came back plain, but with a fried seafood ball that clearly did not look GF. After all that, my son did feel he was glutened! Unfortunately, I’m not confident that we can safely eat there. I will also note that I put our GF allergy on the reservation.

A great experience for someone with Celiac!! Most dishes are naturally GF. Our server was very prepared once I told her I had Celiac and knew exactly what I needed to avoid due to cross contamination. The menu has very few items that contain gluten, which made me feel even better about cross contamination risk. Highly recommend!
