The Grain Cafe

We walked here from the City Hall parking structure before seeing a show at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, so we didn't have to deal with the tiny parking lot. The restaurant was fairly deserted, but we were only there for dessert! The server showed me the three gluten free options and recommended the chocolate brownie. She explained that they did their best to avoid cross contamination. She warmed it up for me, and it was quite tasty. And, I had no gluten reactions.

Brilliant pancakes, amazing coffe with cinnamon and the most tasty whipped orange juice!

Now the negative this place is in a strip mall with limited parking, and you might think twice about going in, but it’s well worth the visit.
