This is a sandwich counter inside the Public Market. I ordered the Veggie Stack sandwich on gluten free bread. The woman at the register seemed knowledgeable and wrote everything down in great detail. The person making the sandwiches cleaned the surface before making mine on top of the paper it would be wrapped in to minimize cross-contamination. The sandwich, which was a generous size, was actually two smaller sandwiches (4 slices of bread total), so they didn’t have to use a knife to cut it in half, further reducing a point of potential cross-contamination. The place was overall very clean — the folks not making my gluten-free sandwich repeatedly changed gloves and wiped down surfaces as they transitioned between ingredients and tasks. I’d verify the ingredients of their sauces and seasonings if you’re going to get something a little more complicated than veggies and cheese, but they seem trustworthy, and the sandwich was very tasty.
