They make many things NOT gluten free and didn’t wash hands or change gloves. They were unable to answer if items they made were gluten free or not!

Highly recommended for celiacs and anyone that wants a safe meal in Ocean City. Staff was very welcoming and assuring. Ordered the Italian Sub GF and was asked if it was for an allergy or preference. Staff took all precautions and used a separate toaster for the bread. The sub was delicious and I did not get 1% sick.

I went to this cafe months ago as I was so excited to get a gluten free sandwich for my son who had recently been diagnosed with celiac disease. However the staff was unsure if the deli meat was gluten free. So I asked if I could please just buy a sub roll from them to make him a sandwich at home since I was having a hard time finding gluten free bread in Ocean City. They said yes but for $10! I declined and left. Outrageous. Since the other reviews have been good though I decided to try again since maybe I just had a bad experience with one staff member. However I called today and asked if the deli meat was gluten free and was told that it was NOT gluten free. I'm wondering why a cafe that has gluten free breads and dedicated toasters/utensils would serve deli meat that has gluten in it?? How can they serve sandwiches to customers that are gluten free? I'm so disappointed and would hope that if serving the gluten free community is a goal of this cafe, that they would switch to one of the many available gluten free deli meats (Boars Head or Dietz and Watson just to name a couple).

I loved this place. Not only did they have gf bread options, they carried different brands if you had a preference! You were not pigeonholed into just a tiny slice of udi's bread. I believe he used basic essentials? I'd never heard of it but I had s huge grilled cheddar cheese w tomatoes and avocado. Plenty of non gf items as well. Mostly sandwiches, wraps and smoothies. I recommend this to celiacs as they use a different pan and utensils for cooking.

Celiac friendly. May not look like much on outside but it's very nice and clean inside. Breakfast served all day plus lunch options. GF bagel and bread options. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

We had dinner and breakfast here. They were very knowledgeable about gluten free and had many gluten free options (many gluten free breads, bagels, etc) as well as a separate prep area. The owner is warm and friendly. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Just ate here today and had a great lunch. Lots of GF bread options and safe preparation with separate toasters. Highly recommend T.B.A. (Turkey, Bacon, Avocado) sandwich -- so good! And awesome, friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

After being contaminated elsewhere this week. I decided to try the Greenhouse on our last day of vacation. The owner was amazing. Hands were washed before handling my food. Everything in the kitchen was labeled and you are able to see it from the counter. The sandwiches we ordered were absolutely amazing!

Nancy is awesome and has the best food. We have driven down after work on a week day just to get her Italian cold cut sub and turn around and head home. 2.5-3hours each way. It's seriously that good.

Amazing gluten free sub rolls! Owner was very knowledgable about celiac disease. She has a separate toaster that is labeled "Gluten Free" and a clean space to make your gf sub to avoid CC. I got a sub for lunch just about every day I was on vacation!

This place is great. A variety of GF breads to choose from. They were so nice, they even flagged that one of the breads is made with dairy, just in case I would have an issue.

A quaint place in a strip mall that you should really check out. Friendly, insightful staff that were able to help us with the food allergies that we have in the family. Great options for those like my wife and son that are gluten free. Priced a bit higher than I expected for the amount of food I received but to see my boy happy made it worth it.

Great breakfast and lunch place for us Gluten free people. Freshly slim sliced cold cuts on gluten free bread or rolls. Nice place that understands and cares about those with Gluten issues in a place that you wouldn't think would offer much assistance in a resort town. Highly recommend for a nice sandwich and a fresh cold gluten free beverage

Was in town for the weekend and stopped in, based on reviews from this app! Needless to say this place was great! The owner took very strong precautions to avoid cross contamination and the gf baguette was fantastic. Great spot at the beach for the gf seeker!

Owner is very knowledgeable and willing to go beyond even the menu items to ensure GF. Food preparation includes differently labeled areas and utensils for use with food containing specific allergens. We will go back whenever we return to OC!

I was in Ocean City for 2 days and I ate here 4 times. Wonderful place if you are gluten free. The sandwiches are amazing and the owner is so knowledgable about food allergies. I highly recommend this place.

The perfect place for GF breakfast or lunch in Ocean City. They have GF bagels, Bread, and Baguettes. I had the Italian combo on a GF baguette and it was massive - one of the biggest sandwiches I have ever eaten. They also have a ton of different GF hard ciders and even some GF Beer. The owner was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about many different allergies and prepares all the food herself. Went multiple times on my vacation to Ocean City.

I would 100% recommend The Greenhouse even for celiacs. Excellent food, excellent service. Owner is very allergy aware and took every precaution.

If I could give this place more stars I would. I have been dying to order an Italian cold cut sub since I was diagnosed with celiac. Sub was delicious and had no issues. They have so many options and as others have said the owner is very helpful. They have gf omission beer too! See photo.

Owner was amazing and so knowledgeable about food allergies! I was able to get a sub! Woo hoo Plus she made a white bean chili with shrimp that knocked my socks off! Everything was incredible and I had absolutely no reactions. My allergies are to wheat, corn, soy, chicken, and lobster, agave and all artificial sweetners so you can only imagine how exciting this place was to find! Will definitely go back!
