Somewhat inconspicuous location and interior, but a little insider tip for a very tasty gluten-free haggis. You are made aware that it is prepared alongside foods containing gluten, but the team are very knowledgeable and sensitive in their approach to the food. We had an unusual but exquisite haggis (Auchentoshan whisky & mustard and red wine gravy), and no problems at all. Definitely try it.

I dream if veggie gf haggis and this did not disappoint. Small but filling lunch portion. Haggis a little dry but the whiskey and mustard sauce helped with that and the neeps and tattie were moist and delicious. Hard to find as its in the Story telling centre and just a board outside but worth the issue of finding it in the rain

All the haggis here is gf (including the veggie/vegan options). It's made with certified gf oats. Only one sauce is gf, the whiskey mustard one, but it's delicious. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination. Service is speedy and you can dine in or takeaway, so it's perfect for a quick lunch on the Royal Mile. I had the traditional haggis which was delicious - so happy I found somewhere to try it while I'm in Scotland!

Staff said all their Haggis and Sauces were gluten free. Small portion, but great to try haggis! Thought the Mustard in the Whiskey-Mustard sauce was a bit strong though.

Gluten free items labelled on menu, staff clued up on cross contamination (although most menu is gluten free). Both traditional and vegeterian haggis and sauces gluten free. Had a tasty lunch of haggis, neets and tatties with whisky and mustard sauce.
