I am recently gluten free and am so excited that the chicken is gluten free! You can get the platter with no pita and falafel!
In theory the platters should be gluten free if you don't get the pita but they keep the chicken in the same bin as the pita for some reason? Every Halal Guys location does the same thing but the gyro meat is in its own container. So strange and unaccomodating of customers who are vegan/vegetarian or have gluten sensitivity. Skip this place!

Halal Guys has a list of allergens that items on the menu may contain. Beef contains gluten but chicken does not. Rice.and other main dishes also do not. Desserts and side of pita etc does. Having things listed.convienetly online made it easy to make positive choices.

While the food tastes decent, the staff is not knowledgeable in the slightest for allergies. I've had to ask for a manager to make my food because someone thought it was okay to just take the pita off my platter when I told them I was allergic. They really need to work on their food safety and allergy training before someone goes into anaphylaxis on their watch.

Just be careful if you have celiac. DO NOT order the meats, which the menu lists as GF. As the previous reviewer said, they cover them with pita once they are cooked. I told them this is terrible for allergies and they can’t say the meat is GF. They did not seem to care. I’ve had the falafel. It did not make me sick but wasn’t the greatest falafel in the world either. They also don’t change gloves unless you really push. Generally, they are not great on allergy practices and the staff aren’t trained very well. Too bad.
