The chef and manager spoke to me stating the sushi is NOT SAFE for people with celiac disease. The risk of cross contamination is present and they would not recommend for folks with celiac disease. I spoke to them for about 15 minutes after, explaining the high reviews on FMGF, and collected some info for the community - they stated they could prepare something outside of the menu (e.g., a seared fish with a simple salad, or pan roasted chicken), but even if there is a GF symbol, the cross contamination risk is present with menu items. I appreciated them SO MUCH for this. We have visited The Hamilton for years for various parties and events, but I never had the pleasure of dining with them before I was diagnosed. Nevertheless, the care and concern they took with me to not have me be exposed to gluten was a 10/10. Maybe folks had a different chef when visiting??
