The Harvey House

We had a fantastic dinner at the Harvey house. The food is perfectly executed and most of the menu can be prepared gluten free for celiac. The chiefs are very careful and the food is fantastic. The restaurant has a great view. I highly recommend the Harvey House. They also hand make gluten free bread and it is great.

Delicious food. Knew I was celiac automatically by recalling from reservation and without me saying another word. Many gf options and the food was quite good. Was willing to look up ingredients for menu items because I also have issues with eggs. Overall, enjoyed it very much!

Very GF friendly! They ask about dietary requirements when you make a reservation so my server brought it up before I could even ask. Menu is marked clearly for Gf options and there was plenty to choose from. They had great GF bread and when we ordered an appetizer my husband’s normal bread was brought on a separate plate. So considerate of cross contamination and the meal was lovely!

I got the Korean BBQ with Chicken and it was delicious! The portions were large enough for me that I got two meals out of it. 24 hours later and no reaction so I'll eat here again.

Awesome service and food is good! Why I’m taking off one star is because I have celiac and need gluten free. They have gluten free options but the steak I got was rather lackluster without the sauce. They didn’t indicate it wouldn’t have the sauce and it is a $69 entree so I feel that was unsatisfactory.

The menu clearly notes what is GF or can be prepared GF. The staff was very knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination. They brought out GF bread which was delicious! I had the strip steak, loaded potato, and shrimp cocktail. It was all very good. I did not get sick and will definitely be back. I really enjoyed this spot.

Not only were they very careful to prevent cross-contamination, the gluten free bread and crackers were fabulous. I didn’t feel the least bit deprived and had plenty of options for all courses.

On the surface they seem Celiac friendly, they say the right things and seem considerate. However, I ate here and within an hour felt truly awful with a Celiac reaction that went on for a week, a new record for me. I did eat their GF roll, which tasted great, had a meat dish with super plain preparation of vegetables (that was unexpected as the dish was already GF). Food wise it was ok, extremely overpriced. Staff friendly and considerate. If you have Celiac stay away from this place.

Our server had a gluten allergy as well and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Their gluten free bread service is baked in-house and superb. There are a lot of gluten free choices for fish, meat and vegetarian preferences.

I’ve eaten here several times and it’s been great each time. Servers are very knowledgeable about celiac, items that are/can be gf are market clearly on the menu, and the gf bread is really good! Haven’t had any issues at all.

The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten and can make almost anything on the menu gluten free. They asked before taking our order about dietary restrictions and brought gf bread. Definitely a nice place that takes celiac seriously. As a side note the gluten eaters said the gf bread was better than the normal.
