Went for a private Christmas party. They do not have a dedicated fryer so most items marked gluten free aren’t because of deep fried ingredients. I had the salmon and didn’t feel great the next day unfortunately.

The food is awesome but not celiac safe. Unfortunately I found out the hard way. I told the server that I have celiac and need to be careful of cross contamination. Was told that the Plantains were safe but I ended up sick. I called the next day to check if they were cooked in a dedicated fryer and was told they don't have o ne. Shame on me for not asking. Great restaurant but not celiac safe.

Almost all of the items marked Gluten Free are not celiac safe. Everything is fried and there is no dedicated fryer. Even the mini tacos are labelled GF but served on a flour tortilla? I ordered a shrimp bowl without the fried ones and it came without the avocado jalapeño dressing because the sauce has gluten in it?! Please do not label items as GF when they are NOT!!

My husband ordered from the regular menu and was not impressed with the food either.

Delicious baked goods — I tried the brownie and the Strawberry-Lemon cake. Both were moist and tasty; hard to know they were GF. Did not try anything on the food menu, but there were A LOT of GF options. It is clearly labeled GF and The Herb Box team seemed willing and able to help guide me as needed. The kitchen is not GF, but as someone with Celiac who is sensitive to cross-contamination, I felt fine after enjoying these treats.

The staff were NOT helpful. The menu has gf next to 'gluten free' dishes and rgf for dishes to request it. I ordered the steak that had gf next to it and I even asked the waiter to confirm it was gluten free. When it came out there were fried onion rings on it (I thought they used a gf flour) so I asked another server who brought the food if they were gf. He said absolutely not and took it back to give me another option. Just frustrating. Why put gluten free on your menu if it means nothing?! The appetizers were great but I don't think we'll return until the staff is educated.

Service was terribly slow and the place was not even busy. Mediocre food, not worth the wait and high price.

Lots of healthy, gourmet, gluten free choices. I had a hard time choosing! I ordered the crab dip with plantains and the trout. Both were mouth wateringly delicious. I have celiac disease and had no adverse reactions. Definitely will eat here again!
