This place is going downhill. We came across this establishment about a year ago. Since then my husband and I have enjoyed it as a good go to place once or twice a week whether just the two of us or with our kids. Well tonight, I regret ever finding it. We suggested the hive for our brothers 50th birthday party as a family of 12. What a mistake! It’s almost as this place and management disgraces against families and younger kids. The manager Drake is a disgrace to your company. Our kids spent a majority of the time by the lake sitting at the picnic tables. There were no disturbances what so ever. We have a $250+ bill and the adults ask for another round of drinks BUT we were told that we were cut off and need to leave per the owner who is making the drinks according to Drake. We were beyond disbelief. 4 adults. 15 drinks amongst the 4 of us. You do the math. No one was out of control and we could not understand why we were told to leave and cut off. We were not even done eating our meals. Our kids didn’t get the desert they asked for. And we were treated absolutely horrible. There was no reason to cut us off or to tell us we had to leave. We were completely baffled. I’m sorry I ever recommended this place to friends and family and especially sorry for suggesting it to celebrate a 50th bday. We were embarrassed as a family being kicked out like a bunch of hooligans. I suggest you never bring young kids or families here because they seem to DISCRIMINATE against families and kids!!!! The Hive should be embarrassed by their staff and managers. There seems to be new wait staff constantly who have no clue what is going on. This place is just hurting themselves. There is so much more I can say but in the end, families beware!

The items on the menu that are gluten free are labeled GF, not a ton of options but there are options. The potato skins are safe because they’re cooked in the oven. Big portions for great prices. I enjoyed myself here while traveling. Will return.
