One of the reasons my family loves Disney World is that they are so accommodating to allergies!
We were visiting for my youngest sister's final cheer competition (March 2024) and made reservations for the Hollywood Brown Derby on Friday night. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful when addressing food allergies. The food itself was tasty but not anything insanely unique (which is low-key a draw of the Hollywood Brown Derby). The decor was a mix of American upscale without being black-tie formal.
My mom loved her Cobb Salad and we all enjoyed our charcuterie starter. But the real star of the night was the flourless chocolate cake! I was decently full from my entree but I have zero regrets about being convinced by my family and waitress to give it a go! Gluten-free friends, if you order anything here, order the flourless chocolate cake!

Unfortunately felt quite queasy after this meal.
The staff was nice and seemed to have a good handle on gluten allergies. But I’m fairly sure I was cross contaminated here.
Food was good but very salty.

We had a great experience here. Both of us have celiac, and they were fantastic. They asked lots of questions about our allergies and confirmed multiple times to make sure we had no other dietary restrictions. Food was delicious and absolutely zero reaction. Highly recommend the spoonbread!
I do wish they had a *few* more options.

The meal was great. They even had GF rolls and vegan butter. Unfortunately no GF and dairy free desserts

I had a really great experience. They even came out and asked about ingredients at risk for cross contamination in the manufacturing facilities. Gluten free rolls were a treat!

I was incredibly impressed here. The chef came out and spoke with me. I was concerned that with all of my food allergies I wouldn’t be able to find some thing on the menu. The chef actually made me something from scratch and it was absolutely delicious. They really take care of you here.

Amazing experience! Had the gf rolls in the oven before I even sat down (we added a note on the reservation). I didn’t have to ask for gf menu or anything. They already knew and had everything ready for me!

Gluten free items marked on their allergy menu. Split the chopped salad and burger with gluten free bun. Excellent warm rolls with butter like I’ve never had before.

Our server was very nice and listened to all my requests. He brought out GF bread rolls which were very good. The curried squash soup was amazing and the Ben and Ella's chicken was also good. The polenta was the real star however. The Allergy menu is clearly marked for lots of different allergies. This is a more up scale establishment, so more pricey than normal but still delicious!

Staff was knowledgeable about food allergies and had a whole allergy coded menu. The meal was good. The GF rolls weren’t great. But not a bad GF option.
Yes
Chef was very kind and willing to make my requests happen. However, read over every menu item that claims to be safe for gluten/wheat allergies. On the allergy friendly menu one of the entrees is a pork chop marinated in makers mark bourbon. After looking up the ingredients of Makers Mark, it states that it is made with wheat. I already called And spoke to a Disney Allergy rep and they are looking more carefully into how they customize their allergy menus.
The staff was extremely knowledgeable and my son enjoyed all his gf options. The food was good, although not our favorite restaurant of the week.
Yes
Great restaurant for gluten free options. I had the crab cakes, which were excellent. Also I had the grouper and lobster tail, which was so delicious! And if you like gluten free beer they have Estrella Damm Daura. I will definitely eat here again when we return to Disney!

Service was horrific . They lost our ticket, we waited at least an extra 45min for food. I asked for medium well on steak, and I received a mooing piece of meat. They tried to pacify us with a round of drinks, fast pass which we couldn't use because they took so long we had to leave, they offered me coffee , espresso, cappuccino I asked just coffee and she brought me espresso which I hate. I refused to eat the meal, they wanted to cook it more and I told them to forget it. If I could give it negative stars I would

We love the Cobb salad sub goat cheese for the blue cheese. Most the good we've had here is delish. Desserts are yum!!

Good food. Chef comes to table to give you gf options. Almost everything is gf. And they make a special gf chocolate flour less cake. So good (not on the menu). The noodle dish was fabulous.
