Delicious food with incredibly friendly and helpful staff! Almost everything is gluten free (including their vegan shawarma!) and tasted amazing. The Chickpea chiller is a must try - super healthy and tastes like a milkshake/ice cream. I felt very safe eating here as a very sensitive Celiac

Gluten free options, similar to a chipotle (line style service). Go early to avoid cross contamination. The guy working changed his gloves and got new scoops from me from clean sections of the fillings.

I must respectfully disagree with the prior review; I’m a vegetarian with celiac, Anne I found lots of options. I had a bowl and was able to choose from a large number of choices to fill it. When I casually mentioned being gluten free, the server changed his glove’s and asked a different staff member to handle the other order being made to avoid CC. He also walked me through everything available (the menu was also posted and marked for gluten, soy, Anna’s vegan).

They have changed the online menu and now only the Schwarma is considered gluten free

The food was excellent as well as the service. Everything is fresh and their fryer is gluten free. Able to have falafel and French fries. Huge choice of salads, sauces and other hot and cold sides. My daughter has celiac and had many options and loved everything and she hates everything ! Great experience!

The food is delicious,but seeing as they're new, they aren't good about cross contamination. They do have a dedicated fryer for falafel and fries, but I ordered a plate, and after they scooped out hummus and put it on my plate, I watched as they scooped out some for the next person, and spread the spoon on the pita. I asked them all to change gloves, but only 2 people did. I typically would ask to get new hummus or whatever so I wouldnt get cross contaminated, but they were ridiculously busy, and as expected, I got sick. I plan to go back and eat again, but educate them on cross contamination a bit. I put not celiac friendly, for now at least.

Opened August 2018 with a bang! Excellent Mediterranean food with so many GF options. Dedicated fryer for regular or sweet potato fries. Manager was very knowledgeable about GF issues. This is a franchise. The NYC store has a website with allergen info. Had GF options clearly posted. Similar to a Chipotle, but with Mediterranean options. Fresh and fabulous.
