Had a great experience, knowledgeable and confident server. He made sure to let me know that all fried food has cross contact and the fries are not gluten free. The menu is labeled, but it’s a little confusing so make sure to talk to your server, there’s more you can eat than is labeled. I got the steak with collards and mashed potatoes and it was very delicious. All the steak sauces were gf too.

The staff was not knowledgeable about gf items. I asked her to make sure the seasonings on my sandwich didn’t have gluten in them and I’m pretty sure that’s why I was sick for 3 days after eating here. The gf bread was not good, nor the meat itself. Don’t waste your money

Waitress knowledgable and knew the difference for every item whether it was GF or celiac friendly. They do not have a dedicated frier so some items were off limits. But food was great. Items well marked.

Fantastic! Staff very knowledgeable and the menu is clearly marked with a green asterisk next to all GF items. I had the grilled cheese, they have gf buns and bread. It is a shared fryer so that is at your own risk but they warn you about that too.

All time FAVORITE PLACE! I either get the downtown grilled cheese ( which is amazing! Especially for someone like me who isn’t a huge grilled cheese fan! ) or the chicken sandwich. Both on either GF bread or Burger bun! Their steak bites are a great appetizer and flourless chocolate moose cake is GREAT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I visited here for the first time and got the braised short rib meal marked at gf. The waitress had no knowledge on what was or wasn’t gf and I was horribly sick by the time I got home.

Good options, good food, good wait staff. The chocolate torte was very dense. Had the roasted chicken for dinner and was full of flavor. Ambiance was awesome.

Was in town for the total solar eclipse, and decided to try The Icehouse for dinner with family. It's a small place, but very cute inside. Waitress was very friendly, but the food is delivered by runners or whoever is available to bring it out. They do offer a gluten free menu, though somewhat limited.

I ordered the broiled seafood meal (lunch portion), however you can only have shrimp with the gluten free option. My sides were grilled vegetables and potatoes wedges. However they were never delivered them with my meal. I had to track down the waitress for those items. We also ordered an Artichoke -Spinach dip to come out with the meal. The shrimp were awesome and I would definitely get them again. The artichoke-spinach dip was chunky and not creamy, it was ok, but not my style. My family all enjoyed their regular meals (I'm the only one that needs to order gluten free).

I went to this place and I got horribly sick. They cross contaminated everything! They said their fries and chicken wings were gluten free, however, they were fried in the same fryer as nongluten free items, making it not gluten free, causing me to get ill. They do not understand how to take care of gluten free foods as they should since they advertise and serve it

Lunch.

The ambiance is as welcoming as the staff. Being gluten free, I had done my homework but often am disappointed by lack of understanding. Not here.

I had the wings appetizer which were decadently crispy and doused with a sweet chili sauce that left me licking my fingers. A Greek salad with delicious lemon vinegrette, fresh and perfectly sized (got the small one) was ideal for my appetite.

Others in our party had the club sandwich, Greek pita and fried talapia sandwiches (none gluten free but all winners.)

We will definitely be back. Hoping for an entree next time!
