GF choices clearly marked on the menu. I felt safe ordering and had no bad reaction. I got the shepherd’s pie. It was fine but the seasoning was not my fav. I’ve been to Ireland many times and this place is not far off the mark. Great music selections.

Even though several things on the menu are marked gf, you MUST ask! The Gaelic Nachos, the Double-Stuffed Potato Skins, and the fries, (all marked gf) are prepared in a shared, contaminated fryer. The Shepherd’s Pie will come with scones, if you don’t specify, even though it is marked gf. A Smithwicks Seafood Stew is marked as gf. How? After some negotiations, we ordered a burger with a gf bun. It came with battered onions and had to be re-made. The re-made burger came with Guinness mayo. Basically, it was a disaster.

Lovely establishment very quaint. Definitely would recommend making reservations. I had a loaded baked potato and thinly sliced roast beef with mushrooms-onions and baked cheese on top. Very Celiac aware. Definitely would recommend.

They were extremely careful with ascertaining and accommodating all of our allergies, gluten being only one of them. It was one of only two places in Niagara On the Lakes able to accommodate us, so we had multiple meals there. Great atmosphere, service and food!
