BUYER BEWARE-if no star was an option, we would use it! Some of our family is celiac, some are just gluten sensitive, we bought these "kind" cakes recently and our whole family got extremely ill that night. It was the only thing in common we had all eaten. The frosting tasted like cheap Crisco and sugar, and the pumpkin was a little bland. I try to support local, but I honestly can't after our experience. I will NEVER buy from The Kind Cake again. We complained and didn't get our money back, since we already ate it. In addition , one has NO IDEA where these products are baked in a DEDICATED KITCHEN? What and where exactly is this commercial kitchen they claim to use? A church basement shared with others? Apartment with roommates? Somehow something got contaminated, and I don't think they have enough experience to deal with this serious of a possible life threatening allergy. Sorry, maybe for the nut free folks it's ok, but you are dealing with something very serious in the celiac world. Never again!
The most amazing cakes and cupcakes I've had. I'm still amazed that these are gluten free as they taste better than cakes that have gluten. I'm from California and I thought I had the best of gluten free but these cupcakes are the best by far!!!
couldn't tell ya how good they were. Just wanted to state that they don't have a store front. Maybe I missed it on the site, so, if you did to, now you know
The Kind Cake's cupcakes are moist, flavorful and healthier than a conventional cupcake. Their cupcakes are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, egg-free and nut-free. Check out their website at thekindcake.com
