Review of The Lake House Kitchen & Tavern

The menu has many items marked as GF. When I asked the bartender, he said that GF means “gluten friendly “. The fries were marked GF but I asked and he said they’re in a shared fryer, and not appropriate for celiacs. I appreciate that he was knowledgeable but it goes to show the importance of asking and confirming if items are truly gluten free. I had the Cobb salad, and it was good- but if I’d trusted the menu would’ve assumed fries are gluten free.
