The Laughing Place Bakery

We visit this bakery every time we are in town, and we buy as much as we can! This time, we came in two days before Thanksgiving- they had coconut cream pie, French silk pie, raspberry rhubarb, peach pie, chocolate cupcakes, and CINNAMON ROLLS (my fave!). I forget they also sell jams & jellies, coffee, and fresh farm eggs. Everything we have had here is DELICIOUS!!! The cinnamon rolls come in individual paper muffin tins, so they are easy to reheat. We have food allergies with multiple family members, and it’s SO nice to eat somewhere with no worries.

Wish I could have tried them. I’m never in Gladstone but we were here for a Cheer competition for our high schooler. Everything online says closing at 6. Showed up right before 5 and they said they closed at 4:30. So, just a heads up… don’t get your hopes up and don’t show up after 4:30 on a Saturday.

Awesome place! Going completely GF in one week. Spoke with the owner and she’s very excited to announce the change!

Staff is pretty dismissive and can’t really answer anything beyond its gluten free. So If you are avoiding anything else you probably won’t get much guidance.

Update- the bakery is now Gluten Free. They have a book that they can give you showing you all of the ingredients in each item they sale.

This is an amazing bakery and wonderful treat for people with celiac since the entire bakery is gluten free. Everything is delicious. I really loved the lemon rosemary cupcake and the pineapple upside down cake. They have yummy cinnamon rolls that they serve warm without you needing to ask. Plus they have amazing quiche. I have the leek and Parmesan it was possibly the tasty quiche I’ve ever had. Come early. Avoid the macrons and banana bread both were a bit dried out. Everything else was delicious!

This bakery is now totally gluten free except their sourdough bread! I’ve been using their gluten free honey oat bread for months and have now tried their flourless choc cake, monster bars, quiche and focaccia bread…. All AMAZING!

My first time to the Laughing Place. This is a super cute bakery. The attention to detail is charming. The pastries are delicious. I have had their gluten-free cinnamon rolls are amazing! Wonderful job ladies. I’ll will be back. The are gluten-free in Tuesday’s!

Soooo good!! My family and I love this cute and delicious bakery!! Tuesday is their gluten free day, so everything is gluten free. Yummy and did not get sick, while I am very allergic. Very pleased.

This was the most wonderful thing I’ve ever tasted. Very tasty and delicious. Great variety of treats and a perfect way to start a Tuesday! Had a GF cinnamon roll- better than any other cinnamon role ever—flourless chocolate cake was super good and rich, also had a chocolate chip cookie that topped all of the rest off!

Awesome quality GF baked goods on Tuesdays! The kitchen isn't used Sun/Mon so when they bake its in a clean kitchen and they don't use gluten again til Wednesday.
