Good knowledge of gluten free and server went back to check when he wasn't sure. Cider on tap. Good size servings, appetizer is a meal. No more pizzas but still some options in sandwiches and appetizers.

Menu does mark gluten free online but not on the menu in the restaurant. I had looked at the menu before so was aware of what was GF or could be modified to be GF. We ordered the chips and dip which was fabulous! The dip was delicious but the star was the freshly fried crinkle cut chips. I had the chicken milanese. I was surprised it was GF when they brought out a breaded piece of chicken but it was delicious and I did not get sick.

Just ok…don’t have GF menu anymore (only online). The waiter just said: “tell me in what you’re interested and I let you know if it can be done GF”. Really? I wasn’t expecting that. I got the beet salad with shrimp and the dressing was overpowering and the portion was not so much for the price. In case you want to try this place ask to put the dressing on the side for salads.

Food was excellent! Although there is no GF menu, they can make most everything on the menu GF. They have GF pizza crust and buns for burgers as well as a separate fryer. I got a prosciutto and fig pizza with a GF crust and it was delicious. My husband agreed and he is not gluten free

I’ve been to the local many times in the past and always felt somewhat safe. However, my last experience wasn’t the most pleasant one. They changed the menu and don’t offer a GF menu anymore. Not only that, my server wasn’t knowledgeable with celiac and wasn’t able to identify any items that I could eat. I ended up ordering a salmon and grilled asparagus but won’t return. Food is good and I wish it was better served for Celiacs

Majority of menu can be done gluten free. Order the chips & dip appetizer and the short rib for the entree and both were delicious! Great setting with a beautiful view and excellent drinks. 10/10 recommend

Contrary to what another reviewer said, they did offer gluten free bread: I was offered a roll. I accidentally got gluten free sweet potato fries, which were delicious. I love having a place for safe, healthy, INTERESTING food. A tad pricey.
Yes

They have a great menu. Love going there. Staff is very knowledgeable as well as the managers. Never made to feel like I was a bother fir my severe gluten allergy.
I had to go to The Local for a work dinner, and I was pleased to see that there was a full gluten free menu that included appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The staff was knowledgeable and comfortable about the GF menu, and my dinner was brought by the manager. I ordered a quinoa power bowl, which was fresh but not particularly flavorful, and I had expected it to be warm but was cold. I wish I had chosen one of the available hot entrees. But it was a filling and safe meal, and I would go back to try other options.
