Review of The Local

We ate at The Local twice during our 5-day visit to Boone and both meals were amazing. The first time we ate on the patio and I had the shrimp & grits. It was possibly the best I’ve ever had. The Caesar side salad was tasty as well, as was the Pear Fizz cocktail. The next night we did takeout because they had enclosed the patio in plastic due to cooler weather, so we weren’t as comfortable dining there due to Covid concerns. I had the Uber Meat pizza, which was awesome. The gf cauliflower crust had a very subtle cauliflower taste and a perfect texture, and the toppings were delicious. I honestly wanted to eat there a third time since everything on the menu looked wonderful!
