We’ve eaten in and done take out a lot. While they have a lot of options with takeout you really have to watch it. Twice now our order hasn’t been input properly and we got a gluten item instead of gf (thankfully we noticed). I would call instead of online order. Our order last night was also a big dip in quality and was really disappointing. They were busy and I know everywhere is short staffed these days so hopefully just a one off.

We needed options that were also egg free. Our server, Brandon, was Very responsive to Getting answers from the kitchen. He was personable and Gave us great service. we enjoyed our meals

Lots of options. Even my daughter was happily pleased to find kid friendly GF options. We tested all GF options and were pleasantly surprised every time! Some of the things we love here are: Beef brisket with mashed potatoes, Beef brisket sandwich on GF bun, Burgers!, pizza, steak tips, and Mac and cheese and so much more

I had the most delicious lunch for Valentines Day - highly recommend the acorn squash with quinoa, chicken, spinach & cranberries!! Great variety and options on the GF menu 💕

Delicious gf pizza. Saw someone getting a good looking pizza as I entered the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised that I could have one too.

Waited for an hour for food, then waitress spilled a drink onto our food. Since we were starving, asked if we could eat it anyway while she put in an order for a new meal. Waitress came back and said since we ate the food and we spiked the drink(really) we would not get meal replaced. So ridiculous and food was mediocre. Had a gluten free menu, but my daughter did not feel well when we left!

Great GF options here! They have pizza, sandwiches, and main dishes I had the blackened chicken with green beans and rice which was great! And I’ve had the energy bowl before, too. They have a lot of different options and I’ll definitely be back

Were at the one in West Newton. I discovered a new gf beer: Celia by Ipswich. Good but not my preferred. Took the chicken sesame bowl. Really good.

I'm extremely sensitive and had no issues at The Local. The server and manager were very helpful and careful and my Asian Bowl was delicious. I'll definitely go back.

Food is fantastic- menu items that you might be unlikely to go to the effort to make at home, and unique in the good way :)- so delicious. Between us we had several food intolerances but the staff was accommodating.

Never had a problem dining in, but beware if you are picking up to take home. They have sent me home with non-gf versions 3 TIMES! Each time, it was something I'd had in the restaurant, so it looked wrong and I wasn't poisoned, but this indicates a serious problem to me in communication/training about allergies.

Incredible Mac n cheese

The Local in Wellesley is great! love that they have a GF fryer - the parmesan truffle fries are a must! Great burger buns, incredible mac and cheese, delicious cocktail menu! One of our go-to spots!

We went to The Local in Wellesley and had a great experience. They have a lot of GF options--including beer and mac-n-cheese. They also have a dedicated GF frier at this location. The waitress was great, the food amazing and I did not get sick. I would highly recommend.

The gluten-free menu is pretty extensive, but I ordered a gluten-free pasta dish and was served the regular pasta. I was suspicious after a few spoonfuls and asked the waitress, who said it was not gluten-free. They then brought me a gluten-free dish and I did not pay for my meal, but that does not change the fact that I got very sick.

Food is amazing and has a VERY extensive GF menu which includes most of their top apps and entrees in a modified version and many are just GF to start.
