Very friendly and honest staff. I don’t think they were comfortable cooking for someone with celiac. They could do the basics - salad or grilled chicken, but they were nervous about cross contamination.

Ate there twice and got sick twice. Server did not take celiac seriously. Terrible. Our third night at the Lodge we ate cereal in our room and felt much better.

Great GF options, including GF bread. Staff very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed a good dinner and also lunch. Also have a GF chocolate dessert made for GF guests.

No Gluten-free menu. Our server started off really good - knowledgeable, helpful. I ordered, then thought she said something about one of my allergens in my husband's dinner. I got her attention and asked her to check - she came back and said it was o.k., but when the plate came that specific allergen was on my plate. She didn't deal with that very well. The vegetables I had were very overcooked, sad but the best part was the jasmine rice. I would recommend giving the Lodge a miss and going to the Stone Hearth in Tropic!

Even though they do not have a wide variety of menu items that are GF what I had was good and I did not get sick. The servers were excellent and helpful. I had salad, a baked potato and a delicious pork chop. They also offer a flat iron steak.

Our server insisted that the majority of the menu items could be made GF, but I got very sick. I had the salmon with jasmine rice and pickled cabbage. The rice was half hard - like it had been undercooked and mixed in with old rice or something - and the cabbage was just awful. The salmon had a spicy sauce that was tasty, but like I said, I was sick within the hour. Very disappointed given how much we spent for dinner.

Did not have the same experience as the previous guest. No GF menu, no labeled items so my choices were dependent on the knowledge of the server. She had no idea, just a line obviously recited from management. I was disappointed to hear that only "salads and sandwiches" could be made gluten free, when there were clearly other items on the menu that could be easily altered or were already gluten free. When I pressed further about why or what alterations were required to the salads/sandwiches, the server then backtracked and said almost anything on the menu could be made gluten free and I should pick whatever I want. I got a veggie wrap altered to be on the gluten free bun, didn't get sick but never had such a struggle ordering something! It was our only option in the area so better than nothing. Restaurant decor is cute.

Wonderful food options and incredibly nice and knowledgable staff on what was gluten free and good tasting gluten fee items! In such a remote setting this was an incredible oasis.
