Weird tiny shop. Once you open the door you think you just stepped into a Harry Potter movie set. All the cookie lady cookies have gluten but they do have a rack with a wide variety of gluten free cookies made elsewhere. Worth a visit particularly if you have kids.

I came to the town of Makawao with my family for the famous doughnuts on a stick (sold at Komoda Bakery, and my family LOVED them) but the doughnuts of course have gluten. I was excited to hear that there was gluten free cookies in town though. When I arrived at the store, I quickly learned that unlike what they claim online, the cookies are made by other brands and just carried at this store. They had three brands, only one of which was gluten free certified. I asked the woman who was working (I believe she is the co-owner) if she knew was measures were taken to prevent cross-contamination with gluten at the facility where they were made. She responded “Oh like peanuts?” I told her no, and explained how I could get sick if there was flour in the kitchen when the cookies were made, because I have celiac. Then the most horrifying part is that she told me her daughter used to have celiac, then went on the Daniel Fasts Diet for 21 months and WAS CURED?! Number 1, there is NO CURE for celiac, number 2, the daniel fasts diet is not 21 months but 21 days and is based off a bible story, and number 3, many dietitians have said that the daniel fasts diet is NOT good for you (no matter the circumstances). The misinformation at the store was terrifying, and I did purchase the pre-packaged, certified gluten-free cookie. It was extremely overpriced ($8 for one), and it tasted like one of those bad protein cookies but there was no health benefits to them. Please do not visit this store!

Beautiful stores.... The gluten free cookies are make by an other person. My daughter took the lemon, meringue and it was delicious. They had apple with cover who seems to be delicious byt we doesn't took one. The cookies for non-celiac are amazing. Just the store is magical. You need to see this.
