They have an extensive number of gluten free options. And their staff tries really hard but it is just not safe, especially if you have other allergies as well. If you are very vigilant and know what to look out for, you can usually advocate for yourself and might end up with a safe meal. But after tonight we have permanently crossed this place off the list. My daughter ended up in the hospital twice and tonight could lead to the same.

As someone who worked at this Melting Pot, I can say for certain that they NOT Celiac friendly. Servers would cut bread directly next to the salad dressing, dipped bread into sauce containers, and overall had no concern for guests’ allergy restrictions. Not all locations are like this, but the one in Montgomery/Cincinnati should absolutely be AVOIDED.

This is a great place to eat! The staff is very knowledgeable on the topic and you can prevent cross-contamination by asking for the server to make the same thing in two separate pots. (1pot for gluten-free, 1 pot for gluten) They have a gluten-free menu with substitutions so that you can enjoy all the dipping you want! Very popular in my family!
Good Gluten free options, However cross contamination is an issue if sharing a single pot with people eating foods containing gluten. Would not recommend for Celiacs

First time eating here. It was a wonderful experience. The waiter was so good. Everything was so good. The only thing was when we had dessert I only ate the fruit dipped in the chocolate. Took the gluten free brownies and snickerdoodle’s home with me. I ate them the next day and I did get sick after I had ate them. Would still recommend them but not the cookies and brownies. And would go back again but just avoiding the brownies and snickerdoodle’s.

Never on my radar, BUT I read an article by Gluten Free Dad about how it is Gluten free safe spot certified by an independent company. We were surprised at how well versed the employees were the variety offered. So far no one has gotten sick. Everything is brought/made in front of you by you and everything was labeled on the menu. The dessert was the best! GF brownie and cookie that weren’t hard as a rock. I doubled checked with the waitress every time and she wasn’t annoyed by my questions!

The waiter was extremely knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. Almost all of the cheeses could be made gluten-free, they had gluten-free bread to dip in the cheese, and gluten-free brownies and snickerdoodles to dip in the chocolate. Amazing experience and didn’t get sick!

Menu has labels for GF options. When I’m able to have an appetizer, main course AND dessert at dinner I appreciate it. They have GF bread for cheese dip appetizers. And GF brownies for chocolate dip dessert and (for a small up charge) macarons! Don’t sleep on The Melting Pot!

Wonderful gluten free experience. Very knowledgeable staff and the food was delicious. There’s really barely any difference between the gluten and non gluten platters.
