Most celiac safe place I have eaten in Newport. The fish was lovely and the flourless chocolate cake with the toffee was heaven. Vibez were good too.

Best GF meal in Newport. Separate GF menu and staff is receptive and accommodating to celiac. Ate at this restaurant 3 different times during my stay and never got sick. Fun to be able to eat sandwiches I typically can’t eat (lobster rolls and cod sandwich!)

Best lobster roll ever with gf roll. We went there because we used the app. It was by far the best meal we ate while in Newport. Totally worth it.

Good experience. The restaurant has new gluten-free menus. The kitchen was very accommodating and made me a delicious meal.

My husband is celiac and I eat gluten free along with him. They now have a separate gluten free menu with many choices. Ken (the manager) goes over and above to make sure everything is perfect. The waitresses are very knowledgeable. Make sure you get the gluten free dinner rolls. So yummy!

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! By far one of the best and most satisfying meals I’ve had. Ever. The menu is nearly 100% Gluten free and are accommodating to allergies. I got the Chicken and the food was balanced and well seasoned while also allowing me to have food for dessert. The desserts themselves were light as well so I didn’t leave the restaurant feeling too full or bloated. Overall, I loved the food and experience. The only downside I can think of was that some members of the party found the food salty. I personally didn’t notice that though because I like my food salty anyways. Would definitely recommend!

Was so excited to come here for my anniversary since everyone said they have a gluten free menu! Unfortunately they didn’t have any printed and the waitress said they couldn’t do any modifications… maybe she was new but if there isn’t a GF menu printed at the time, there should at least be some education for the staff on what is or can be made gluten free.

Waitress informed me that there was a separate fryer and to avoid anything fried and how they could modify several items to be gluten free. She seemed very knowledgeable and I didn’t get sick.

Super accommodating for a celiac! Food was delicious! Ate here with a large group and when food arrived the food runner presented my food mentioned it was gluten free. That is important to me because often food runners do not know or communicate that. Well run, lively and delicious meal!

Has GF offerings on menu. I had the lobster salad on GF bun with a side salad. It was so delicious! Waitress was knowledgeable about celiac. My non celiac family members had fish & chips and lobster roll sandwich and said it was delicious too.

Very knowledgeable about Celiac and eating safely. The Mooring has a separate GF menu with a good selection. Delicious whipped mashed potatoes, blackened salmon sandwich and tuna/crab appetizer. Great place for Celiac diners!

Staff was extremely knowledgeable and careful. Told them I had celiac and they substituted gluten-free croutons on my Caesar salad and a gluten-free bun with my blackened salmon sandwich. It did take a little while to come out of the kitchen but it was delicious!

Our food was excellent here, especially the GF rolls and the GF bun my lobster roll came on! My husband got the whole fish, which was one his favorites. I got the lobster roll which was great however I wish I would have ordered a different side other than the side salad it came with which was a little lackluster. Our server was not the best and service was a little slow. However, she took the GF needs seriously. I would definitely come back here and order an entrée instead of a sandwich. We sat outside and had a lovely view of the marina.

Had a great dinner here. There is a separate GF menu (make sure you ask for it - regular menu is not marked) and the server was very knowledgeable and double checked everything I had questions about. My cod came out so crispy on the seared side I got suspicious that there HAD to be flour involved, and the waitress checked again with the chef who confirmed I was good to go. Enjoyed everything and felt fine afterward.

Separate menu. Lucky to grab a seat as a walk in, reservations were fully booked on a Tuesday. Seafood is a must try, there is no way around it. Lobster roll was insanely good, Caribbean Shrimp wraps were extremely tasty but a bit messy. Food is on the pricier end but it is a unique experience given the location and the looks of the establishment. Server was knowledgeable of allergies, but service itself could be better. The place is very big so we were only visited like 3 times.

My wife is celiac and we went here after seeing many positive reviews regarding gluten free options. The waitress was knowledgeable, and the food was amazing. We got the Caesar salad (with gluten free croutons), swordfish, and scallops. Probably the best scallops and gluten free rolls I’ve had in my life. The other items were great too. Highly recommended!

Had very good burgers have a gluten free menu and dessert menu they keep you safe from being glutened
The food here is beyond delicious! Had the crab cake to start and the seafood risotto for my main dish! Great service and very knowledgeable about celiac disease and precautions!
Yes
They offered s GF menu, understood CC & food was decent. The prices were so high & the food wasn’t that good. I paid $35.00 for 4 scallops on Lima beans. My table laughed at my meal when it arrived, called it a smurf meal. They do offer GF buns that were great & a separate butter dish.
Yes
Wonderful restaurant. Extensive gluten free menu. Steak and cheese sandwich on gluten free roll was outstanding. They had a gf chocolate peanut butter pie for dessert and it was awesome. Chef brought both dishes out to confirm it was safe for my celiac.

Delicious, they were careful, perfect experience.
Amazing! Knowledgeable wait staff and my whole fam enjoyed the food. GF bread cooked separately and yummy desserts!

They have a designated GF menu and delicious food! A manager brought my food out and assured me the kitchen deemed it celiac safe. The wait staff was excellent! She saw that I wasn’t eating the GF croutons in my salad (as GF croutons can be a bit mushy) and came by to reassure me my whole plate was prepared GF. The lobster sandwich, seafood risotto, and tuna poke were all so good. My mom and I finished our meal with Creme Brûlée(yum)!!
Yes
Best lobster roll ever! And the gluten free roll was amazing! Dedicated gluten free menu with desserts! They even have gluten free beer, if you like gluten free beer-me not so much. This is a must stop if your Celiac and in RI

Went to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. There was a dedicated menu and glutenberg is also available. Highly recommend for a nice night out.
Great spot! They have a GF menu and an area of the kitchen for allergies to avoid cross contamination. Everyone was very knowledgeable. Food was great! They even brought out GF bread. Highly recommend. They do a great job!

loved it! they were very helpful and knowledgeable. you have to ask for gluten free bread if you want it (bread doesn’t just come to the table when you sit down) but it’s really good!! you can’t eat any of the fried food, though. still, i have celiac and felt fine after eating there!

HUGE gluten free menu! The food was out of this world. The staff was knowledgeable and I felt really comfortable. Would highly recommend!
