Is this place celiac friendly? I mean, technically. Over the last year, they've updated their menu to add GF to their menu, which is helpful, but the menu options are extremely limited. I just came here for lunch and my only options were a few salads and chicken wings, which I had to ask about because it seemed unusual to me that the wings wouldn't be fried or coated in flour. I was told they were baked in the oven, but occasionally the chef would throw them in the frier to crisp them up, so even though they say GF on the menu, that may not always be the case unless you specifically ask! Someone else at my table also ordered the wings, and when they brought both out, they didn't make any distinction which one was GF and which one wasn't, so I had to take them at their word...which is always a bit stressful. Especially after they told me sometimes they were fried. I also had the wedge salad, which they brought out with 2 dressings, to which the server said, "one of these isn't gluten free," but she didn't know which one! I had to ask her to clarify and let me know, because obviously I couldn't have one of them, and I'm not sure why they brought it out in the first place. Ultimately, I ended up being fine and had no issues after eating here, but I'd say you have to be extremely cautious and ask many questions. I felt very nervous eating here, and options are very limited since it's essentially bar food and it's just difficult to get that GF.
