Not Celiac safe at all.

Update: Times have changed and The Nest isn’t as safe as it used to be. 😕 So long to one of my favorite coffee shops/breakfast places.
One of the girls that works at the Nest (possibly an owner?) is gluten free, so they’re really accommodating. Their gluten free French toast is insanely good! Tastes like they made it with regular white bread! And, everything else is good too, from eggs to coconut milk lattes. We go all the time!

They have changed their menu and their “gluten free” options are no longer actually truly gluten free, they added flour into their mixtures. Very disappointed.

They use to be really good about gluten-free, now apparently they even put wheat flour in the mixture they dip the bread in for french toast. So you can have dry toast with the toppings for french toast. Who wants that?! Very disappointed.

Limited gf options, the staff didn’t make me feel comfortable that they knew about cross contamination
They had many gluten free options, the place looked well put together. I ordered the nest breakfast which was eggs, bacon, fruit, and GF toast. I thought it tasted good and wasn’t concerned. Two hours later I was in the Dallas mall throwing up nonstop, having diarrhea. I had to ride in an ambulance and go to the hospital. Do NOT eat here. Worst experience of my life eating “gluten free”. The bad part is I liked everything about the place, staff was nice, well put together, food tasted good. However, clearly they aren’t cautious about handling food. Never again.

Staff was awesome! Lavender coconut latte, GF French toast and omelette was amazing! Clean and welcoming atmosphere!!!
Found this place by accident and LOVED IT! Garden omelette was huge and fresh and delicious. Cappuccino was the perfect temperature and balance. GF bread was light and fluffy. Most important, my allergy is severe and I didn’t get sick!
Offered gluten free toast with most breakfast dishes, as well as gluten free french toast. They also offered dairy free coffee options. However no gf waffles or pancakes. Also may have cross contamination. Menu is labeled for what is gf or not.
Cute place and nice drinks but despite the large gluten free menu I was told that it was not safe for a celiac to eat here. They were not sure what cross contamination meant. The tea I got was really good though!

This place is amazing...from the almond milk lattes to the gf French toast! They can make just about anything on the menu gf (not sure about CC on the waffles, though). Had the Pink Lady (like lox) and a pied pumpkin latte, for brunch, and it was hands down the PSL I've ever had 😊
