I spoke with the waitress about being celiac and she seemed very aware of my need to eat gluten free. I had fish made the healthy way, roasted potatoes and coleslaw, all of which she agreed were good choices. Still I got glutened, I think cross contamination in the kitchen was the culprit.

I eat here monthly. The wait staff, cooks and owner are very up on GF and cross contamination. The salad dressings and sauces are homemade. I usually get fish cooked with healthy option. No GF desserts but the portions are large enough that I never have room.

We called the restaurant to inquire about their handling of gluten free needs. They offer to use a gf flour on their fried items but then use the same fryer as used for gluten for cooking. When I inquired if fish could just be seared in a clean frying pan with caution taken to avoid cross contacting with gluten, I was advised that this restaurant was probably not a good choice for celiacs.

No GF menu, but knowledgeable and have options like GF breadcrumbs and flour for some of the breaded items. Also have a GF chocolate torte which we didn't try this time but we will another time. Good service and delicious food. Only gave it 4 stars because they don't have GF pasta or bread, but we've eaten here before and have never gotten sick, so we will eat here again.
