The Old Man River Restaurant and Brewery

Their menu says they offer gluten-free pizza crust and gluten-free buns. If you get very sick from consuming gluten, I would suggest being a bit leery as cross-contamination is very possible. The current owner was not all that friendly and when we asked what she would recommend that others order that are gluten-free, she told me she couldn’t go through the whole menu with me! All I wanted was a suggestion. Also, one of the waitresses brought in a dog after it’s potty break an it proceeded to bark while we were there. She claimed it was a service dog. My husband and I both did OK with eating the food and it was very good. We would consider going back if in the area.

Had GF pizza crust and burger buns available. Had a dedicated fryer for GF fries and other sides. Waitress seemed very knowledgeable of issues. Overall very satisfied with GF concerns.

Talking to the waiters...doesnt seem like there is a dedicated kitchen space. Second, i told them i was celiac and they brought out french onion soup with croutons and a salad vingarette they they couldn't verify was GF. I had a steak and felt fine, but kinda a last resort.
