Server very knowledgeable. No specific GF menu but options are available. Shrimp and grits were awesome. A return trip 2 years after this first one and they were out of shrimp… had the salmon which was just ok. Collard greens were bland. Atmosphere and ambiance still cool.

Had a great meal with my husband and friends here. They have a GF menu available with a good amount of options. I opted for salmon, green beans and a baked potato. Everything was great.

There is no gluten free menu. GF items are not marked on the menu. When asked, the waitress noted items that "should be okay." I made my best guess with her input and ordered the salmon with two sides. I requested that she check with the chef on the sides to make sure they would be gluten free. She said she did. The food was bland, though the salmon was cooked well. It seemed as if the rest of my party (who did not order GF) wasn't impressed with the quality/flavor of their food, either. If you can find other options in the area, I'd recommend trying that over this place.
Historic Tavern with gluten-free items on their menu.
