The Park Side Cafe

This place has many gluten free options, but I was really disappointed to get there and see that they didn’t have any celiac safe options. They had a few salads (e.g., bean salad) in their refrigerated display but the salads were not covered and they had bagels on shelves above them (shelves were made of wire). After talking to two people who worked there about freshly made food, they made it very clear that didn’t think they could manage cross-contamination so I left without buying anything.

Most options seem to be inherently gluten free and it's overall taken very seriously! The food is also quite good albeit a bit exoensive, portions seem small but it's WAY more dense and satiating than they may seem on first impression that in my opinion compensates.

I ordered delivery and they used doordash for that which is fine, but it did arrive a little lukewarm, at no fault of anyone I'm sure, but I have a feeling I would've had a lot more to say about the food if it was fresh. I'll have to stop be sometime.

This is a great option for vegan food and *sometimes* options for gluten free! Their breakfast sandwich is awesome! Items are clearly marked GF, soy free, nut free, and oil free. Their chocolate caramel cake is SO good. Decadent and delicious. Their gf biscuits need some work because they are far too dry and crumbly.

I love Park Side! The employees and food are fabulous. I have a severe wheat allergy + am being assessed for celiac and never have issues eating here. Lots of gf options, and all very tasty. Great breakfast, lunch, coffee and dessert. Employees are kind and knowledgeable of GF and allergies
