My friend (no gluten issues) and I (severe celiac) decided to have lunch here after finding ourselves stranded outside the restaurant we had planned to go to on our road trip to Greenfield last weekend. I have to say: I'm so glad the other place was closed! The environment of the restaurant is very homey and friendly, our waitress was EXTREMELY knowledgeable when it came to food allergies, and the food was absolutely amazing. I was especially impressed by the fact that our waitress was able to tell us that they brew their own beer, and they put a tiny bit into their BBQ sauce - she told me most of the glutens are filtered out by the time they make it into the sauce, but if I had any issues with cross contamination that I should probably steer clear. Amazing attention to detail, delicious food, and not a bad price, either. My only complaint is that service was a tad slow and there was an awkward bit while we were waiting to be seating (no hostess) but I'm pretty sure this was because it wasn't the lunch rush: the only two front of house staff there when we came in were our waitress and the bartender, so all is forgiven. Definitely highly recommend the People's Pint - I'm going to have to make the 1.5 hour trip out to Greenfield again sometime soon just so I can take my boyfriend!
